SMUDS is the premier oratory society in SMU that organizes weekly sessions to groom aspiring debaters for major tournaments, such as the regional Asian British Parliamentary Debate Championship and the international World Universities Debating Championship. On a non-competitive front, we expose our members to multiple debate formats and conventions, with weekly thought-provoking debates about current contentious issues. Challenge yourself to speak about these issues, or analyse these debates effectively as an adjudicator.
